Everyone has a story to tell. My story starts off in a land not too far away, Tulsa, Oklahoma, many years ago. I was raised in a home where my mother loved books, collecting them in a library that proved to be one of my favorite spots in the home. Her second past time was shopping for antiques, where the stories behind the artifacts also intrigued me. Let’s not stop there. My mom’s list of loves was extensive so we shall put another of her all-time favorites on the page...gardening. Our yard and home were always full of flowers and she planted, pruned and plucked away with total abandon. What did she do for her day job? She was a high school biology teacher! My dad was a pharmacist. Hence the birth of The Cos Shoppe, a place that sells books, antiques, plants and garden supplies and classes as well.  They say the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, so if that’s the case, here I am. I’m looking for a community that enjoys a good book or two, and also one that loves old things, gardening and a love of the arts.  If you love fresh or dried herbs, teas, oils, my door is open.
